  Customer Questions & Answers
Question:
First: I am very interested to know why this 13mm thumb master cylinder at about £410 is better than the Brembo universal 13mm foot master cylinder at about £65?Ive wasted money on standard Brembo parts in the past because I thought the only difference between the normal parts and the high end parts were just the finish quality, like the 19mm RCS CNC brake lever has a special racing master cylinder and im told it feels better than the cast version that I bought. If I had known I would of bought the CNC.My Carbon Brake Discs are late again so now I need to buy steel Brembo brake discs for this summer, but which are best T-Drive, HPK or SBK and why? After arguing with my UK supplier BikeHPS I prove that Brembo make discs not in there range called 'GP' spec. Im not a race team but I am a designer and engineer and I appreciate the fine engineering of Italian racing parts and im fed up with stupid UK companies who know nothing. It seems CarpiMoto have a range of Brembo parts greater than anyone I have come across. Please can you tell me what brake discs are best for my CBR1000RR 2008?. Yes I know the Honda CBR is old but I will buy a new one when Honda get it right for the public, a bike that could win races in Super Stock class.Kind Regardsant...

Answer:
This is a racing part, can't be compared to any street part. Also this is a special mc to be used with thumb master cylinder then it is a world apart. Regarding the disks if you use street calipers (ie stock calipers) or calipers for disks that works with street calipers, the choice is between SuperSport and T-Drive; my choide is T-Drive because it is lighter and innovative. If you use racing calipers (like GP4 RR) you can only use 30mm rotors then only 6mm Brembo racing disks.
