  Description

Brembo Genuine Parts Pads.

Selected by motorcycle manufacturers, Genuine brake pads are available in various compounds, each of which is characterised by a different friction coefficient. The friction coefficient is expressed with a number that has a value from 1 to 99: the higher the value of this number the higher the friction coefficient of that particular compound will be.

  • 01-35 : This is the Carbon Ceramic material developed by Brembo as OEM equipment. The evolution of the organic compound, featuring a higher carbon content. This friction material offers increased mileage, and good performance in all conditions: heat and cold, wet and dry.
  • Over 50 : This is the Sintered material developed by Brembo as OEM equipment, guarantee a high friction rate at every temperatures and with every weather.Demanding motorcyclists choose this pads for their combined low ware and high friction rate.

Please Note that every product is a set of pads for 1 caliper therefore for 1 disk, so if your bike has two front disk the right quantity is 2 products

  Customer Questions & Answers
Question:
Grazie
July / 30 / 2015
Answer:

Question:
hi, im driving ducati monster 696 (no abs) 2011. i do some city driving but mostly make 100+km out of town daily. once a month i go to the track. i am thinking of getting 07BB1973 for front and 07BB2035 for the back. or should i go with 07BB19SA for the back? please help me. thanks!
September / 05 / 2015
Answer:
07BB1973 is a pretty good solution for everyday use, 07BB1990 will be better for track, also you can use 07BB19RC for track only. 07BB19SA will not fit rear caliper, 07BB2035 will be a good solution.

Question:
thanks for your answer! how do 07BB2035 and 07BB1973 compare to OEM ones? i have OEM at the moment.
September / 06 / 2015
Answer:
The rear should be the same, I don't know exactly which is the oem compound, I think it is not so aggressive btw

Question:
Hi, I own a Ducati Monster 1100 2009 and I am looking to replace front and rear brake pads.Currently I have the OEM and would like to know what is the best choice for replacement. I wouldn't like anything that 'eats' the brake discs but if there are any pads better friction that the original ones, I would go for that. Can you help me choose ?Thanks!
April / 21 / 2018
Answer:
Which is the use of the bike ? For Street use you can choose genuine 07BB1973 or 07BB1990 for front and 07BB2065 or 07BB209A for rear. 07BB1990 and 07BB209A are the best performance choice in the Brembo Genuine series.

Question:
I use my Monster 1100 in the city but I do mostly road usage, like speedways and mountain roads. Don’t do any tracks nor I am thinking on doing any track day.Obviously that disc consumption will depend on the use I give to the brakes, but still the 07BB1990 and 07BB209A will ‘eat’ their discs a lot more than the OEM? Regarding the brake discs, which are the ones you recommend for the type of usage I give to my bike ?Thanks a lot for your help, you guys are simply the best!!!!
April / 21 / 2018
Answer:
First question: no they won't eat the disks. We recommend Brembo Serie Oro. A small tip: the more the pads are racing the less "eat" the disks because their compound should last less miles than a street compound.

Question:
April / 23 / 2019
Answer:

Question:
Grazie,Giulio
October / 21 / 2019
Answer:

Question:
HiThanks for sharing your braking knowledge with us. I guess the genuine cintered are the OEM brake pads on a ktm 1290 front brake. Correct me if i am wrong but for long adventure trip the genuine cintered would deliver the longest mileage (not the best performance obviously). Now the thing i do not understand and cannot find is what exactly is the last reference number meaning?Genuine cintered 59 or 73 or 90 or 96 ? What does these number means? Thanks
January / 25 / 2021
Answer:
The friction coefficient is expressed with a number that has a value from 1 to 99: the higher the value of this number the higher the friction coefficient of that particular compound will be. We don't have KTM (or other brands) compound application list, every manufacturer asks Brembo a specific compound. If you want from us a reply please write again this question addin the part number that are over the brake pads back . Over the 07BB1973 theere is printed "TT 2802 GG 07.6708.20 " . For long Adventure trips we recommend 07BB19LA .
