  Description

Performance Friction is a well known brand all over racing fields.
Its Carbon Metallic pads are used buy all the best teams and riders, Why?
Because they produce and develop with no compromise just to be the leader in the racing market.

PFC pads are made from a Carbon Metallic material.
Carbon possesses very good dimensional stability at elevated temperatures. Therefore, the pad is less likely to deform and deteriorate at high operating temperatures, which tend to be between 572°F and 932°F (300°C and 500°C). The metallic elements are there to increase the coefficient of friction of the pad material and provide the ultimate in stopping power.
All PFC compounds have similar relative density/structural integrity/compressibility and Rockwell hardness. In other words, all PFC pads are in the region of medium to hard. The terms soft – medium – hard tend to be used by pad manufacturers where they produce a pad to cope with one criterion, but performs poorly for other criteria.
PFC pads are one of the few in the market place that can offer excellent stopping power with excellent wear characteristics of both the pad and disc with just one compound. The difference in compounds is more a measure of the characteristics of that compound, rather than a measure of its softness or hardness.

  • 95 compound
Specifically developed to cope with stainless steel discs. This compound is the most widely used for bikes and can be used on both stainless and iron discs. Provides excellent bite, good controllability, virtually fade free, excellent wear rate, very good release. 95 compound is the choice of champions.
  • 05 compound
    Higher bite, immediate powerful braking
  • 07 compound
    powerful as 05 , progressive as 95

you can control your pads: download application chart PDF here

How to understand PFC part code, for example WWWW.XX.YY.ZZ
WWWW >>> is the pad shape
XX >>> is the compound
YY >>> is the thickness
ZZ >>> is the number of pads in a single box
