Charge Modes:

Fully automatic multi-step program brings the battery safely to full charge – Connect to the battery and OptiMate 5 Start/stop does the rest, no supervision required!

OPERATION: Selectable, 4 charge programs.

1. 12Volts : 14.4V for standard batteries.
2. 12Volts : 14.7V for premium AGM / deep cycle.
3. 24Volts : 28.8V for standard batteries.
4. 24Volts : 29.4V for premium AGM / deep cycle.

The charger can be kept connected for several months. If power is lost, it automatically resumes from the battery test when power is restored. However, do not leave the battery unattended for extended periods.

  Q: Does OptiMate 6 have a battery restoration program? A: Yes, the standard program has the most advanced restoration program, capable of saving almost completely discharged sulfate batteries (down to 0,5V).

  Q: Shall I need to select a program? A: Yes, choose .

  Q: What type of battery does it maintain? A: This charger can maintain batteries with very high amperages. Fully Discharged Battery: from 6Ah to 240Ah

  Q: What's the difference between a Maintainer and a Battery Charger? A: A maintainer keeps the battery charged for extended periods without needing to be disconnected, while a battery charger recharges the discharged battery and must be disconnected once it reaches full charge. With this battery charger, you have both functions; once it finishes charging the battery, it keeps it charged without manual intervention.

  Q: What is the charging current? A: Max 6A (Ampmatic current) @ 12V / Max 3A (Ampmatic current) @ 24V. Automatically adjusts current to match battery size and condition.

  Q: I received the charger, connected the plug to the power, tried to measure the output current with a tester, and there's no output current. Is this normal? A: Yes, the charger supplies voltage only when connected to a battery.

• Do not charge frozen or damaged batteries. Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not recharge dry charged batteries.
• Do not put the charger on the battery while charging.
• Be careful to reduce the risk of dropping metal tools onto the battery. It may cause a short circuit.
• When charging lead-acid batteries, please remove personal metal items such as rings, bracelets, necklaces, and watches. Do not smoke or generate sparks or flames while charging.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, Disconnect the charger from the AC socket before maintenance or cleaning. It must not be used by children or anyone who does not follow the instructions in this manual unless they are supervised by an adult to ensure the correct use of the charger.
