DB-killer is a small silencer which reduces exhaust noise while placed at the end of a muffler.
Made of the junction of two stainless steel pipes, has to be inserted in the muffler's end; the external pipe is welded to a lower diameter internal pipe which goes inside.
As bigger is the difference between the two pipes' diameter and as long is the length of the internal one, the more db-killer will reduce noise.
This product was born as a Mivv's muffler replacement part, so if you own a Mivv, please choose the right one checking your exhaust docs. The Image on this page is generic, the pdf file lists the pdf drawnings with dimensions.
FAQ:
- Q: If I place a db-killer in my muffler will it be street legal? A: No, street legal muffler has to come from the factory as street legal.
- Q: Which db-killer do I have to choose? R: If you don't have a Mivv exhaust, measure the diameter of your muffler end pipe, then order the one that fit this diameter, among same external diameter, choose the lower internal diameter if you are looking for low noise.
- Q: How can i fix db-killer to muffler which never had a db-killer? A: most of our db killer has a small hole at the end of the external pipe, make the same hole in your muffler's end pipe, then use a small screw or a rivet to weld them together.

HiAre you able to tell me if I can mount a Mivv DB-killer in these to these two Mivv Sport Line slip on silencers K.004LN and K.004.SN, or if it will only be possible to mount in the K.004LN model?If you futher more will be able to tell me what the size of the DK-killer should have to be to fint the silencer, I'll be very pleased.Thanks in advanceJakob Jepsen

LN version is supported and db killer is listed in the application list (50.DK.011.0 version), SN is a dismissed product to which you can use every 53 mm version

what about the MIVV stronger line for supermotard? they come only as racing and and homologated versions, but without a removable DBkiller. can i purchase a dbkiller to add to the racing version?
