Question:
Hi there, we have 2 new 2015 R1s and wish to upgrade the master cylinder to a RCS19 or equivalent. The issue is we don't want to remove the integrated braking system and the take off point for the existing braided line from the master cylinder is from the side and not the bottom like most Brembo Mater cylinders. The line has a rigid section of about 3 inches that will not allow any flex to the normal mounting position for the brembo which is underneath. what can you suggest?regardsGlenn

You use our product "Universal Radial Master Cylinder Adaptor"

Question:
Hello I'm very interested in this item. I have three questions:1: for a Ducati Sportyclassic Monoposto this is the MC that I need? or I go for the 19x18?2: How long is the lever? if I want a shorter version which one I need an how short it is?3: I want to buy the same MC with the same look and peint but for the Clutch, I can't find it in your store. Thanks
November / 06 / 2016
Answer:
Hi, 1-3: if you want to preserve the same look for brake and clutch we suggest you 16RCS Clutch master cylinder (code 110A26350 long lever) and 15RCS brake master cylinder (code 110A26330 - long lever). You will also need 2 pieces of FrenTubo adapters 1701012: Short half lever is 128mm (110A26396), long half lever is 155mm (code 110A26398) - Brake master cylinder is also produced with shorter lever (code 110A26320). Clutch MC isn't produced with short lever, but you can replace it (you will have the Brembo Logo upside down)

1. Is the performance of this lever (power/modulation) the same as the 19RCS in 19x20 mode, or is it better? Are the internals the same?2. Does this lever take the same micro switch as the 19RCS?3. Would this 19x20 Forged or the 19x18 Forged be closest to the 19x20 CNC Billet?

Question:
I'm interested in replacing the Brembo master cylinder on a Thruxton 1200R with one of these. (1) Will I need to replace the brake lines on the bike, or will the existing set do? (2) Will I need to purchase a brake light switch? If so, which one? (3) Is it possible to use third party brake levers with this cylinder? If not, is the RCS compatible with any?
February / 28 / 2017
Answer:
1) and 2) As far I know the stock master cylinder is radial therefore you need just the Brake Light Switch 10x1.0 mm, for one banjo. 3) there are third party lever; for RCS ony end levers.
