Description

Brembo, through a relevant engineering work, succeeded in producing a monobloc caliper at an interesting price but keeping very high technology.

The structural design, of course radial, is MONOBLOC type as already said. Of course a real monobloc, like those used in MotoGP and SBK from the majority of the riders, that is to say without the lateral caps which hold the pistons. Brembo, unequalled in the world, developed this technology so as to assure unique stiffness and working precision.

Fixing hole distance 108 mm and Off-set = 22,5 (perfectly interchangeable with the radial calipers of Japanese supersports, for some model spacers are required)

The kit is supplied in box with sponge rubber and includes Brembo stickers and Thermotapes to check the working temperature.

Please Note: CBR 1000 RR 04-05 stock disk is 310mm, CBR 600 RR stock disk is 310mm, CB 1000R stock disk is 310mm. To install these calipers on these bikes you need to install 320mm disks and adaptors pn 105998709. Or you Brembo CNC P4 30/34 calipers pn 220A01610 with adaptors pn 105998709.

Question:  Hi. I am planning to replace the OEM Tokico calipers on my GSX-R1000 K7 (OEM discs, 6mm thick, 310mm in diameter). Can I install the Brembo calipers using the OEM components? Namely ... 1. Do I need spacers? 2. Can I use the OEM bolts for fixing the Brembo calipers? 3. Can I use the OEM bolts for fixing the hoses to the Brembo calipers? 4. Answer:  1 Yes you need spacers and specific bolts, 2/3/4 you can't use the OEM bolts/hoses/pads

Question:  Hi. Will these calipers fit my yamaha R6R-2007 OEM brakelines and banjobolts? If not, does carpimoto offer brakeline kit for these brembo units that would fit my bike?

Answer:  No will fit only with specific brake lines that we can provide, just order the stock brakeline specifying where you want to place them

Answer:  These calipers works with stock or in any case commericial disks, maybe there is some other problem, for example too much brake fluid and too much contact whule not braking between pads and disks; it is difficult to tell you without the bike in front. In any case with Braking or Brembo disks, + all the pads we sell on web site you will not have problems for sure. The pads coming with the calipers are as well really fine, they are the same used on most expensive Ducatis with italian steel stock disks

Answer:  M4 calipers are universal calipers that becomes specific when used with dedicated spacers (read adapters) . For your bike are part number 220A02421

Answer:  I asked Brembo just for a further confirm and they told me that your bike uses 100mm calipers: you should use all the 100mm pitch calipers for large track disks

Answer:  Brembo does not provide any adaptor application list for Triumph, we have listed some Triumph models just because the caliper pitch is 108mm and because usually the workshop which will mount them knows how to install them

Answer:  As you can check the application list reports your bike as compatible, and the linked products link lists the adapter 220A02421 >>> Caliper works on your bike with adapters only. New brake lines or specific bolts should be required. The first gold radial calipers are still available and are on our site also

Answer:  Hello We are in Italy and even if this page is in english we use the italian date format, dd/mm/yyyy. Regardind calipers they work with your stock feet with adapters. Brembo told us that the adapters for stock 308mm rotors is the pn 220A02413, and for 310mm rotors is the pn 220A02415 , but a customer told that the spacers (not the bolts) included in the kit has to be adjusted (a small mod), for this reason the adapters has not full compatibility (we prefer not give full compatibility and not have claims).

Answer:  No, on your bike CBR 1000 RR 04-05, and on CBR 600 RR and on CB 1000R with 310mm disks, you need a 320mm disk. Right now the only caliper that works with your 310mm disks is the 220A01610 with 105998709.

Question:   I have been trying to rid my 2005 zx10r of it`s brake fade on track for some time now. I have replaced master cylinder (brembo racing 19X20), brake fluid (dot 5.1), brake lines (braided steel), pads (sintered HH race pads) and calipers (used the calipers from ZX12). Each time, there has been improvement (from complete fade after 15 minutes track to 80% over 2 hours) but I would like to fix this once and for all...will these calipers fix it once and for all???

Answer:  I can report what Brembo write about Speed Triple same year: they say spacers are not necessary. I don't have any other info. What you should check is the height of the part that fix the caliper to the feet. I mean the part where the bolt is inside the caliper. We can check also the height of the M4 and understand if you need spacers. I will be happy to receive the measures here in this section of the site if you want.
