  Description

Developed by Bitubo for the "traditional" front Forks, the ABB09 Fork Cartridge Kit meets the requirements of the fans who don't wish to give up aggressive driving on a "Easy Bike" or a Maxi Scooter.
The kit consists of a pair of complete cartridges, pressurised with nitrogen, with the hydraulics totally redesigned for optimum control of the forecarriage.
The top caps, in Ergal 7075,replacing the original ones, now provide for the adjustment of the preloading of the springs, included in the kit, for customised calibration.

Technical characteristics of the ABB 09 Cartridge Kit:
> Cr-Si alloy steel springs with linear rigidity
> Ergal top cap, with preload spring adjustment.
> Hydraulic unit in a sealed and nitrogen pressurised cartridge, with oversize pistons and laminar packs studied for the perfect control of damping.

Question:
 G'day, do I have a choice of spring rates?Cheers,John
June / 21 / 2012
Answer:
Yes sure, when you place the order please specify your weight and the type of use (street , track)

Question:
The Scrambler forks have a "rebound spring" which goes around the damper rod; and a "damper rod seat" (also named an oil seal), which is at the bottom of the outer tube.Do I re-install the "rebound spring" and the "damper rod seat" with the T0022ABB09 ?
July / 08 / 2012
Answer:
Hello , the italian part of the instruction clearly says that the rebound spring "la contromolla estensione" should be removed (point 6), unfortunatly the english translation misses this part. Also the italian part says that everything shall be removed because the Bitubo cartridge is a full replacement. I have forward this bug to Bitubo

Question:
HiI am keen to order the above cartridge kit for my 2009 Triumph Scrambler .Do you offervarious spring rates for different weight riders ? I am 75KG including riding gear and prefer a ride that is compliant as opposed to harsh !Thank you & RegardsErrolQueensland / Australia
May / 15 / 2013
Answer:
Well I will not suggest to order a stiffer spring for sure! But as well it is a risk to suggest a softer spring rate. My advice is to use the stock spring rate.

Question:
I ordered this kit and it will fit the 2013 model Triumph Scramber - I have installed it.
August / 17 / 2013
Answer:
Thanks!

Question:
What spring would you suggest. I'm 200-205lbs without gear. plan on riding a 50/50 mix of street and dirt.
November / 03 / 2013
Answer:
I suggest the standard spring. On dirt street you will adjust the compression and preload to soft.

Question:
Back in November I bought these fork kits and your shocks and had them installed but didn't ride the bike until recently. Happy with the improvement in ride on my 2013 scrambler but when I compress the front forks it sounds like a bad mattress in a cheap motel. don't hear it riding just stopped or parking lot speeds. What could have been done wrong? I can't believe this is normal. Thanks Ray
May / 08 / 2014
Answer:
Something wrong installing or a bad positioning of the spring. I think you need to open check if you have followed the correct install procedure and try to turn the spring of quater of turm.

Question:
Is this cartridge kit serviceable and rechargeable? What is the service interval on it?
May / 16 / 2014
Answer:
Yes it is . The interval is about 20000 Km or two years.

Question:
How does one service the nitrogen cartridge? Could you please elaborate on the maintenance requirements for this kit and how and where one would go about servicing it?
May / 16 / 2014
Answer:
You can service the fork as a standard fork, changing olio etc, for the nitro cartridge (I mean internal part) you must refer to a Bitubo service point.

Question:
I ONLY WEIGH 140 POUNDS. DO YOU HAVE A SPRING TO ACCOMMODATE THIS WEIGHT. please estimate shipping
July / 16 / 2014
Answer:
This part can be sprung with a different weight for sure, just write your weight in the basket note field. But I do not suggest to do it, you are only 28 pounds under the rider average weight, also you may need to drive with a passenger so far a lighter weight can't be the right solution.

Question:
Hello. I'm planning to purchase this kit for 2006 Scrambler. I have now stock forks with added 30mm travel. It's made with Free Spirit style bushing at the lower end. Can I use this 30mm bushing with this cartridge? It will fit there for sure but is there enough travel in that cartridge? I wouldn't like to give away 150mm suspension travel...
August / 21 / 2014
Answer:
We can only confirm that this part works with stock fork.

Question:
Hello, I would like to ensure that both of my forks are adjusted evenly. My intent was to set both forks at zero pre-load and count turns to increase the load. Unfortunately, I can't sense when there is zero load. Should I feel a "stop" or change in resistance? Is there any way to verify both forks are at zero pre-load?Thank you
April / 15 / 2015
Answer:
You are at zero at counterclock zero , when you can't turn it anymore.

Question:
Is there a Bitubo Fork Cartridge Kit for a 2012 Triumph Bonneville with the 17 inch alloy wheel? If yes, what is the part number and price?Thank you
June / 12 / 2015
Answer:
Good Morning, the right cartridge for your bike is T0010ABB09-085
